I've heard the pay bumps don't apply to PubFin for most BBs other than maybe JPM or BofA who raised salaries across all divisions, but senior PubFin bankers at certain BBs are trying to negotiate for the pay raise too.
pubfin is front office and have bad hours, especially in NY. I don’t know what banks can say that can justify being passed up other than radio silence
