Everyone know the average working hours for IB full-time analyst are 80-100 per week. But seldom hear abt the working hour for Summer analyst/ intern!! There are no one willing to share? or everyone persume intern same as junior analyst?

I am interning as IB SA in a non-BB. Everyday work OT till at least 9pm and even sometimes work till 11pm. Is it normal? Wanna know more abt other ppl intern experience from different companies and Locations

As a summer analyst, you should be working close to analyst hours. If you are going home before 10PM consistently, then your group probably has shit deal flow or your team doesn't trust you enough to give you any real work.
I am just wondering whether the summer analyst also work overtime consistently. I interned in other banking division, my supervisor ask me to leave punctually.
Again, yes, interns should be working "overtime" if they're getting a good experience at a good bank. The only reasons they wouldn't be is either limited dealflow, lack of trust in interns, or a stupid HR department with a stick up their butt.
I am not blaming on my company. They treated me very well, I have OT payment, dinner and taxi claim as well. Just curious the intern in other ib, especially BBs. How is your working hour
