So there are obviously banks that have pushed their recruiting back to the fall. If I know that I would not be able to accept an offer this spring because I want to wait for the fall banks to recruit, is there any point in pursuing spring recruiting at certain banks?

Just recruit in the spring for the top banks then, and then recruit with all banks in the fall. If you get one of your top choices over the spring just don't recruit over the fall.
