Putting a fraternity on a resume

I am a sophomore currently recruiting for IB and was wondering if it would be appropriate to put my fraternity on my resume. If so, does it go under my leadership and activities section? I'm just a regular member/brother and did not run for any leadership positions in the frat this semester so there wouldn't be any bullet points for me to write. Should I just make a single line at the bottom without any description for the fraternity?

Also, not sure if this info is necessary, but I am at a target though Greek life in general is not that big at my school. Thanks guys.

Are you in any committees or groups that did fundraising, philo, or planned events? I wasn’t on my e-board while recruiting but they made all the new guys join different committees and actively participate in those meetings (so the older brothers didn’t have to worry about it). Honestly this was useful for me since I was able to talk about the strategy and process of raising $X amt for whatever charity and booking / budgeting for a formal.

I personally wouldn’t and I didn’t. I was on the cabinet of my fraternity my sophomore year, then president my junior year, and actively involved my senior year. I don’t say this to brag but just to show I was involved and invested time in it. My belief is that too often people see Greek life as an easy way to filter someone out due to the stereotypes that come with it. Also if you know someone was in your fraternity I would much rather just address that in a conversation then let everyone know what fraternity I was in.
