Putting my offer in my instagram bio. Weird?

I'm going to a BB but its a lower end one. Think RBC/DB/CIBC/UBS. No one in the finance community really respects me.

I turned down an EB offer. Not top offer, but still great EB, think Gugg/Jeff/Piper. Everyone said EBs are hands down better than BB besides GS/JPM/MS but i come from a non target & middle class family so i desperately needed the brand recognition.

No enough people check LinkedIn b/c im from a rural non-educated area, so I was thinking about putting my offer in my instagram. I want my friends from high school to know.

This feels weird ngl, is actually? I'm getting conflicting opinions. Thanks monkeys

Not weird imo. You worked hard for it and should be proud. I come from non-target and got a top BB offer. I put it in my insta bio and regularly repost their posts on my story

Hey dude, understand you want to be proud of your offer, but the most this is going to get out of other people is an "oh cool."

They'll then proceed to forget about it 5 minutes later. People care much more about themselves than they do others. At the end of the day it's your choice but just something to think about.

Funniest

I’m already wet imagining a random connect will put

“CIBC (Bulge Bracket, Canada Top Bank) SA ‘27, rejected offer from Piper Sandler (Elite Boutique, like Evercore, formerly Piper Jaffray and Sandler O’Neil)”

in his insta bio and start reposting $69M debt financing stories from the official CIBC account. So hot.
