Just saw an application open for a PWP Advisory summer analyst position in Chicago--wasn't aware they had this office, and apparently it's not opening until 2018. Anyone know about this?

New office opening in 2018. Typical CHI office coverage, primarily industrials. Don't know much about it to be fair but they are recruiting for summer associates at an M7 school.

I've seen job posts for both full time and '18 summer internships, both at the analyst and associate levels. I'd be interested in learning more as well, can't find much else about it anywhere....

Got contact but no details on timeline. I don't think things have moved along very far in their process.

HR called last Friday for some fit questions. She told me there will be a final round before Christmas. But I haven't get any update.
Really? I emailed and got a response on the 12th saying "We are currently reviewing applications and will reach out to you in the next weeks if there is further interest in your candidacy."

Spoke to a senior employee there a while back regarding the position. Talked a bit about the firm and background on the office opening, my experiences and background, my thoughts on Chicago, etc. Haven't heard back since. I take it they moved on to other candidates or they paused on recruiting for a bit.
They are probably done unfortunately.
Oh yea for sure. If I dont hear back from a place within a week I just cross them off haha. However, I think recruiting in this situation is a bit different regarding timing b/c there are a lot of moving parts with opening a new office so I just wanted to provide some color since this got bumped recently.
I spoke with an Associate on 1/5/18 he said they would probably be sending out emails for further interviews to those moving along in the process at the end of January. He also mentioned that the recruitment process is a bit in flux due to the office just opening.
