Quebec LMM - MM I-Banks

I'm keen on developing my career in the Quebec LMM-MM space for various reasons that I won't get into. I would like to get insights on current investment banks killing the space and your opinions on the outlook of I-banks such as Stifel and National Bank in QC.

National Bank has been dominating the LMM-MM QC space for a long-time. I'm aware Stifel had a very strong year as evidenced by the IPO of Guru and recruitment of Mathieu L'allier (former head of BMO).

Are there other I-banks competing in this space (i.e., TD, CIBC, Scotia)? What is the outlook (5 years)? Which bank is more attractive for growth as a junior banker? Comp? Culture? Etc.

Edit* BMO and RBC are sometimes active in the MM space, but IMO are much more active in the large cap space and are definitely heading in that direction.
