Question about investors in LinkedIn

On Yahoo Finance, "major direct holders," "top institutional holders," and "top mutual fund holders" of LinkedIn are listed along w/ their corresponding amount of ownership in # of shares.. On the company's website, though, additional venture capital and angel investors are listed that aren't on YahooFinance and whose percentage of ownership is not listed....

So do all investors including venture capital funds and angel investors have their ownership in shares of a company? And if so, how do I find out how many shares they have (what percentage of the company they own)? And why aren't those investors listed on Yahoo Finance along w/ their percentage of ownership?

its quite possible that there are no VCs or angel investors in the top holder spot. I know that a lot of VCs liquidate their holdings during the IPO and do not hold many shares of the public company. if you think about it, these VCs have been holding illiquid linkedin shares for possibly years and now have the opportunity to liquidate because linkedin is a public company now.

Okay, that makes sense, but what doesn't is the fact that those VC firms are listed on LinkedIn's website as "investors." Is it possible that LinkedIn simply hasn't updated their website in a year?
