Question about licensing for IB
I am currently a intern at a BD for wealth management and am currently studying for my sie and they asked me if I wanted to take my top off series 7. Is the 7 required for investment banking and is the sie going to help me in ib. I know that you need your 79 for ib to take the 79 is your 7 or sie required? How does it all go with licensing? I might as well look into it because I am getting sponsored. What do you guys think? Thanks!
For IB you need SIE, 63, 79. 79 has to be sponsored by your firm
