Enough to get coffee and spread comps
In the top boutique where I worked, think Evercore, Moelis, Lazard. There were about 6-7 interns. Mind you it was only for one office.
BB: 60-80 Elite boutique/MM: 25-50 (varies depending on the bank)
Rough estimates
What in the world Elite Boutique takes anywhere near 50 interns?
I would say accurate with BB- 60-80ish
MM/Boutique- 5-15 on low end (think Lincoln, Baird) - 30ish on high end (think Lazard).
Houlihan? Not 50, but 30+. WF certainly takes 50+, depends if you consider them BB.
