Another thing to think about is what do you think every else is going to ask him? He’s very much an outside of the box thinker. I think that if you can ask him some outside of the box questions that no one else can really think to ask you’ll definitely stand out.

Ask him about the process behind hiring his first few executives. There's nothing on that online at all re: PE/HF or even booting up an IB firm. Tons of stories from founders in other industries but nobody really in finance.
The reason I want to know if because your first few executive level hires basically pens out how well you'll scale and he obviously did that part really well/fast.
Diddy did an interview with Ray Dalio and asked a similar question about this.
