Top merchant bank focused on media side of things. Hires from top targets but dont think exits have been as straightforward as IB firms. Ppl tend to stay with firm
Interviewed with them last year -- process was first round -> super Pretty straight forward technicals and behavioral.
For Raine: Study their portfolio companies. Figure out which ones are succeeding and why you like them. Also, more so than any other placed I interviewed at - they hire for the long term, so why banking/merchant banking is important.
guessing you're at Berkeley or diversity because they recruited everywhere else much later.

So SA 2021 for Raine is no longer open? Emailed recruiter last week and hadn't heard back on a timeline. Am I fucked?
I am pretty sure first rounds were mid april up to tomorrow 4/22

If you're interested in merchant banking space, take a look at GS Merchant Banking, Rothschild, Piper Jaffray, Piper Sandler, BDT, Incentrum Group, and Valquero Capital.
So is it too late to send in an application for Raine? Will they wrap up all recruitment this spring or is there a chance there will be a second wave in the fall/summer?
To OP, I also interviewed with Raine last Friday at a top target. It went pretty well I think and now waiting to hear back. Good luck to you and everyone here we'll keep each other posted:)

Raine has already given out offers for 2021 SA program. Not sure if they are doing it on rolling basis, but a few of my friends already heard back.
So would they be done with recruiting then? No more interviews in the summer/fall?
Raine's intern class isn't that big, so I wouldn't be surprised if all the spots are filled. Wouldn't expect anything in the summer/fall but check with HR.
