Raymond James Superday

I understand that there isn't a large Southern presence here, but I was curious if anybody is attending the Raymond James superday this weekend?

Otherwise, does anybody have any input or insight into the company for a full-time analyst position? I know a lot of the bulge brackets have already completed recruiting and have a negative outlook on the short-term (double-dip).

Thanks, and please shy away from bashing every MM firm or non-bulge bracket firm.

agree with the person above, plus exit opps to PE firms are limited outside of Florida. they are strong in capital raising due to their retail business, but you will get very little exposure to M&A transactions

RJ equity research I've heard is top quality, better than some BBs. Idk about their houston office, should be the same. Image wise, and on WSO, people like to put RJ at lower MM, but their ER department is definitely a notch above the entire firm. Also heard RJ's ibd energy group in houston works people to death...so im thinking they have plenty of deals. can't answer on comp.
resource: friend who works in RJ
