There's a lot of threads about top RE groups, but between CS and RBC it's unclear to me. I've seen deals from RBC but not CS, but websites seem to mention CS more. Thanks!

RBC's US RE team is definitely stronger. Looks like you've seen it yourself. Believe they were top 5 for 2019 RE M&A transactions. For reference, I don't see CS in the top 10 for RE M&A TDV.

For TDV it was: BAML, Citi, GS, Barclays, RBC (in order)
For # of transactions it was: BAML, Citi, GS & RBC, Barclays & MS (in order)
Any idea what the work (m&a vs capital raising) and culture is like for juniors at RBC’s Real Estate group? Are the hours a little better than other industries?
Couldn't tell you anything on culture or hours, but the league table figures were for solely M&A RE so assuming a lot of both M&A and capital raising
