RBC Summer Internship Investment Banking 2010 London
Hi everyone,
I recently applied for a summer internship at RBC Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Summer Analyst 2010 in London
I have been asked to complete the verbal reasoning test, but have not recieved an invitation to do the numerical test (if there is one).
I would appreciate if someone on this forum applied to the same programme and will be able to share their experience on this matter and investment banking interviews.
If I didnt get an invitation to complete the numerical test, does that mean I have been rejected, or they still processing the application?

I did the verbal, no numerical, and just got an e-mail for a first round interview. So I don't think there's numerical.

Ok ok, so you guys got first round interviews. This is no time to circle-jerk eachother. That aside, the european offices love the reasoning tests. I had to do one for Barclays London a couple years ago. It was very stupid.
Agreed, all those European bank online tests are pretty unnecessary.
I am in NYC so am doing it over the phone.
how big of a component of the recruiting process are these tests?
if you only do so/so on the tests are you automatically rejected or do they also give equal consideration to your course grades and the caliber of your university?
Shouldn't be that hard for rbc.
The tests come after your initial app - not sure if you're screened before or if you are redirected towards assessment automatically. You also don't know how well you do on the test; you either are asked to interview or rejected.
I know this topic is old af, but can anyone elaborate on the questions asked in verbal reasoning tests (specifically RBC)?
