Dear All, I have spoken to lots of analysts/associates at Barclays London and PE Associates who just left the firm to understand the bank's dynamics.  The question is: what are the best teams at Barclays that are worth joining? The criteria are quality of dealflow/exits/culture. I have seen quite a few decent exits from Industrials, PUI, TMT (Oaktree, KKR Tech, several MM firms, ...). What about the rest? Healthcare, FIG, ...? In my understanding, some of these top teams still have decent deal flow and may grant you a good analyst experience with good exposure + exit opps. Regardless of the tumultuous period in which the bank finds itself.

Hey there,

Based on the most helpful WSO content, it seems like the top teams at Barclays London that are worth joining, considering the quality of deal flow, exits, and culture, are Industrials, PUI, and TMT. These groups have seen quite a few decent exits to firms like Oaktree, KKR Tech, and several MM firms.

As for other groups like Healthcare and FIG, I don't have specific information on them from the WSO Dataset. However, it's important to remember that the quality of your experience can greatly depend on your personal fit within the team and your own efforts.

Remember, even in tumultuous times, there can be opportunities for learning and growth. So, keep your chin up and your eyes on the prize!
