ReGL Coverage

I left IB for REPE recently and I’m starting to think I shouldn’t have left. Saw PJT raised associate base to $250k. That’s just insane comp compared to REPE. Even if bony is only like 50%

I read some Citi comp figures and saw associates making like $260k - is the comp difference really this wide these days between mid tier BBs and EBs?

Most good REGL jobs are at BBs, so I’m curious what REIB comp looks like if anyone has any insight for BB/EB RE coverage comp

Makes sense. If you’re at one of the few RE firms that pays very well, I’d agree. However, the majority of RE firms pay so significantly less than IB that, imo, maybe those extra hours and long nights in IB can be justified for the extra pay just because you literally may be making more than double. This is coming from someone who’s never done IB and has only been in REPE though.
