Resume help! Deal vs. Pitch experience (lack of deal exp.)
What are people's thoughts on putting pitch experience in a resume?
i.e. detailed M&A pitches / bakeoffs
I've been on the desk a couple of months now and am looking to lateral now given the lack of deal experience group wide... but I'm struggling to fill out my resume. I haven't been on a live process, only a handful of official/unofficial processes and a couple of deals that died within the first 2-3 weeks. It really sucks and don't know what to do with updating my resume.
Does putting pitch work on your resume make you seem like an idiot? How have people written it traditionally (i.e. Potential M&A with xyz... or is that misleading)
