Rising junior, feeling lost
I am a rising junior at a non target with zero relevant experience on my resume. I’ve started networking with the few alum at various banks, as well as sending cold emails with very little response. I am really worried about landing an internship next summer considering I’m starting a little late. The only thing I have going for me is my gpa of 3.98.
What kind of internships could I reasonably land? Although probably not realistic, I’d love an ib role, but am interested in corporate banking, as well as credit.
Time to start slinging cold emails to every shop in the continent asking for an unpaid internship.
Do this now
Have you had any luck with this, I see you kinda having the same problem
You can still get paid
What do the logistics of this look like, do I straight up ask for an internship? What seniority should I be targeting?
Also, is this really something any reputable firm would offer?
You’re right you should just do nothing and sit on your ass. Good luck!
