Risk management from non-target
Does anyone know how hard is it to get a FT credit risk management offer from a BB coming from a non-target undergrad school?

would also like to know... i dont want to hijack your thread... but how about from Miami Ohio
Well risk management is corporate infrastructure,so not a profit producer, but is middle office and offers good exposure and exit opportunities.
It would be harder than a back office position but do able. Pretty much as you work your way down the chain of FO -> MO -> BO nontargets are seen more
I worked with a number of ppl from Miami of O where I use to work. A top 5 prop shop in chicago(Think DRW, Jump, Spot). Its how u market yourself...def possible...
Is Risk Management a good career even if you stick around long-term in your guys' opinions?
