Based on the most helpful WSO content, here's a breakdown of your options considering your goals of working in investment banking (IB), particularly at top firms like Goldman Sachs or J.P. Morgan, and your interest in venture capital (VC) and entrepreneurship:
1. Ross School of Business (University of Michigan)
2. Haas School of Business (UC Berkeley)
3. Kenan-Flagler Business School (UNC)
4. Marshall School of Business (USC)
5. Mendoza College of Business (Notre Dame)
Recommendation
Each school has its unique strengths, but Ross stands out as the most aligned with your aspirations.

Ross easy
Ross, haas if you really want to do VC and optimize for that. But VC is still incredibly hard to break into from haas and you are second tier to Stanford always
Ross if you want traditional IB/Consulting if you're willing to grind for it. Haas if you're interested in more of a teach lean (VC/Startup/Tech IB specifically). Pretty even I'd say, just depends on what you're interested in. Decent pipelines, hardo students.
ross, but you need to get into top b frat (AKPSI), phi delt, and investment clubs (MII, VVI, GIC).
Else, ross and all these schools are a wash.
GL!
you don't need to do any of those things realistically and you'll still be fine
Struck out of recruiting into all clubs at Ross and got an offer after absolutely grinding. It's a grind at Ross, but you can do it without the clubs. The clubs will definitely be the conduit for your success if you can get to one that has established pipelines.
Marshall's elite if you are interested in working in sports
UNC is very underrated for JPMorgan, we placed over 15 this cycle
thanks for everyones help! I also just got into Duke but they don’t have a business school/ major is ross still the way to go???
Broski failed to mention the only super target he got into😭
