Top healthcare shop in EMEA, which until recently was known to be sweaty and a bit of a revolving door. They seem to have solved the problem *wait for it* BY HIRING MORE ANALYSTS! So now the team is properly stuffed, works decent (for banking) hours and culture is solid.
Isn't Rothschild London (particularly) operating more in the MM space? Seen them pitch against WB, Lincoln, Baird, Houlihan, Jeffs etc
Yeah they’re a mid market sellside machine. Everyone I know who went through that team did a tonne of reps on MM healthcare services sellsides with maybe one or two bigger deals (e.g. Zentiva).
Culture wasn’t great a few years ago, although as alluded to above maybe that has changed.
Great dealflow in low to MM and real presence in large cap m&a. Focus on sell-sides, the occasional buy-side is for high profile deals (advised EQT on Galderma LBO if i remember correctly).
Top notch in every sub sector for sponsor deals (spec pharma / cdmos / services).
If you’re interested in large cap / corporate driven deals You should have a look elsewhere.
As mentioned, turnover used to be brutal. Not sure today.
