Rounding GPAs on the Actual IB Application
Hi, I currently habve a 3.68 GPA at a target school, and I have been setting my eyes on MM Energy IB. I will obviously be rounding my GPA to a 3.7 on my resume, but my question is if its fine to round it to a 3.70 on the actual application on the website?
if there are no other option but to round to 3.70 (bc of drop down option that rounds), completely fine, but if you can put 3.68 (or 3.7) you should
Not worth a "lie" technically, 3.68 and 3.70 look the same for most people
On the resume itself tho, do you think it’s fine to state 3.7? I am planning to put it as 3.7/4.0 to make it look less shady, but idk if I’ll get black listed over doing smth like this on my resume.
no don't do it man they will attack your family and nuke your campus. Clearly, 3.68 --> 3.70 completely changes the scope of your application and changes the world indefinitely - very glad you sought out advice on this incredibly pressing matter.
It’s not a bad question though, as ats does screen for a 3.7.
if that's true, this is an even stupider question. why would you put 3.68 and intentionally get screened out? Just put 3.7 and give yourself a fighting chance. idiot
I always leave mine accurate to 7 decimal places e.g. 3.8971673
It’s more of a concern that you don’t know how rounding works…
