Running During SA Internship

Interning in M&A at a MM bank this summer. This fall I'm planning on running a marathon. With that, I'll have to run significant miles during the summer months. How should I approach finding the time and energy to run ~40 miles per week while putting up 75-80 hours? Obviously, the return offer is above my marathon aspirations, but it would be nice to get some miles in this summer.

Doable as an intern, you're usually not pummelled into the ground hours-wise like a FT would be. Prioritize sleep and might need to be a bit flexible on scheduling the runs.

Your long weekend run shouldn't be too hard to accommodate - but you might not get to go out on Friday (or at least leave by midnight and not drink) if you have to wake up early to run on Saturday.

Any night you get out of the office a bit early, go to sleep early and do your shorter weekday runs the next morning. If you're getting killed on a random week, might need to just get a couple miles on the treadmill around dinner time and call it good for the weekday.
