SA 2026: How to Prepare for Energy Investment Banking?

Hello,

I'm thinking about applying to SA 2026 programs from an energy interest perspective.

I was wondering what types of material (newsletters, podcasts, 10-Qs, etc.) to read in order to understand the sector better.

What should I be doing from now until Feb-March to know this industry better?

Thanks!

I found what worked really well for me was reading IR decks or any research reports you can get your hands on. Helps you understand strategy and metrics relevant in the industry (recycle ratio, F&D costs, multiples used, etc.)
