SA 2026 Started (RBC Opened on Sep 27)

Didn't find any other openings, and not sure if RBC also started this early last year. According to other sources, the majority of BB and MF PEs will open 2026 SA in early January, and EB tend to be earlier than BB.

Sorry if I am asking a silly question. I found on this forum that it is encouraged to apply as soon as possible. As a transfer student (freshman at non-target, now sophomore at target) who has yet to officially join any clubs at my new school, should I wait a while or apply right away? Could anyone explain the rationale behind it? Many thanks.

Its case by case. If you have something significant to gain by waiting then ye wait (in the midst of interview process for sophomore SA for example). Otherwise apply ASAP because many banks do segment resumes by application date.

"In selecting Summer Analysts, we look for the following:

  • Undergraduate students in their penultimate year of study at an accredited four-year college or university"

It's in the description

Yes, by the time you enter your internship you should be a rising senior. Junior recruiting (Class of 2026) was done way before.

RBC does this early posting BS every year - hallmark of being top BB - Tier 1 being GS/MS/RBC
