$39/hr 1.5x overtime $2k relocation MM CIB in Southeast
If it’s hourly, do you get 1.5x OT or 0.5x OT (I know some BBs do this).
Mine is so weird. It says my salary is 100k and is not eligible for overtime. Then lower in the letter it has your regular pay rate to be $48 per hour and ill be eligible for overtime at $72 per hour if I work over 40 hours a week. So am I getting or not getting overtime? at JPM
This is for IBD NYC?
Private banking
So here’s what I’m assuming: you probably won’t work overtime in private banking, but if you do, you will get paid overtime. Basically when they say you’re not eligible, it means ur hours are capped at 40/hr.
This is copy and pasted straight from the letter
Your Pay:
Your annual base salary will be $100,000.00 (less applicable taxes), and will cover all the hours you work, which may vary based on business needs. We will pay you consistent with JPMorgan Chase & Co. practices, and your position is not eligible for overtime.
Training:
This training is essential to your success; you must attend and be on time.
During the initial Training Program, we expect your regular pay rate to be $48.07 per hour and your position will be eligible for overtime pay. We expect you to work 40 hours per week generally. If you work more than 40 hours in a workweek during your initial Training Period, you will be eligible for overtime pay at an anticipated overtime pay rate of $72.11 per hour. Once you begin working, we'll teach you how to report your hours.
I guess you're right and they'll tell me eventually how much but still it doesn't really make sense how it says I'm not eligible and I am eligible in paragraphs right next to each other
