Sagent Advisors and Peter J. Solomon

Any insight into the reputation, deal flow and exit ops from these MM banks. I know both are fairly young, but there wasn't much in the search, so I'm just looking for any additional insight.

Solomon has a heavy focus on retail I think. I interviewed with them last September for FT, and it was mostly a fit interview. They sent an MD and an analyst for first round interviews at my school. The MD was kind of a prick and grilled me for not having previous banking experience. Ignore ledger123's remarks about the lack of information about either of these firms meaning they are not worthwhile. P.J. Solomon maybe has ten analysts in the whole firm, and the deal information in the news is limited. If you have an interview mention the few headlines you could find and express curiosity in the deal process.
