Title says it all. Is it too pushy/cringey to send a quick happy new years email go a few people in the group if you are really close to them? Mentors, people who helped you in recruitment process, etc.
I know its not a big deal either way, but would love to get perspectives from people on here.

Doesn’t matter, but the real cringe is that you (and a lot of other people) say Happy New Years instead of Happy New Year SINGULAR. It’s not multiple new years that we’re celebrating, it’s one: 2022.
