Do what interests you. You will get asked why you chose your major and minor and if the response is, "Because someone on a message board said it would be a better fit with banking" that won't fly. If there is a subject that you may not know much about but is something that you would enjoy talking about, then there's your perfect minor.

 

if you are from non target do something related to finance/economics

if you are from a target do what you want it really doesn't matter that much at taht point

 

target school is a school where investment banks actively recruit in. Places like Wharton, NYU etc.

If you don't know if your school is target, go to an employer that you hope to work for in the future, and see which schools they have listed under events.
