Scotiabank ECM Analyst Superday (Toronto)

Hey guys,

So a little background about my self. I am recent graduate currently looking for full-time opportunities in investment banking in Toronto. I recently did my first round at Scotiabank for their ECM group and heard back immediately after to attend the superday the following week.

I have met with all of my interviewers prior to the interview and had built good rapport which is why I think I got such a positive feedback after the initial round. Nevertheless, the superday is with more senior members of the team (VPs, Directors & MDs) whom I have never met or know names of.

The first round was mainly technical which asked basic valuation questions, markets-based questions, recent equity offerings that I have been following, and maybe 1 or 2 behavioral questions. I have a pretty solid understanding of technical questions in terms of accounting and valuation and have been following the markets, studied a couple Scotiabank deals, and have prepared a stock pitch.

Is there anything else that I should be studying/following ahead of the superday interview? Also, what should I expect during the superday that would be different from the initial round? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance guys!
