Senior going to info sessions?

Isn't this a little bit weird? I feel a little bit embarrassed going to these info sessions (which are RIGHT) before resume drop but if I don't go, will this be bad in terms to getting chosen for an interview?

Thanks guys

i don't know how big your school but if its anything like mine, you will be one of at least 50 students there. if you meet the person that ultimately interviews you, they may remember speaking with you at the info-session so thats somewhat of a plus.

but as to your exact question, it has nothing to do with being chosen for an interview unless you somehow talk your way into going drinking with an employee or 2 after the presentation, which has been known to happen. otherwise, from my experience, the presentation will just be a waste of your time.

when i was applying for FT's at BB's at the beginning of my senior year, i'd go to the presentations early, pick up all their swag, and go home. i learned my lesson from junior year.

*keep in mind i am assuming the presentations will be full of students. if you're at a small school then maybe you should go.
