Series Exams - Banks Requiring Them for Analysts
Hey guys,
What prominent banks in NY require the series exams for analysts? On another thread, I heard some banks do not require them. Thanks.

Basically any bank you have heard of will require it. They will pay for training materials and for you to take the exams - I wouldn’t worry about it at all.
Bump - interested in hearing which banks in the US don't require them for lateral hires. I'd be coming from UK IB so will not have the 63 and 79 so I'm thinking that's going to auto-ding me for most roles
That's not going to auto-ding you lol. They'll require you to take it within a certain time period after joining (either before hitting the desk, or more likely when you're on the desk)
Lazard does not
Yes, and CVP. Not sure about other banks, but you can check on brokercheck.finra.org by searching for analysts at those banks
Would you have to take them if you went A2A
