Service Dog
Hello everyone! Due to everyones help, I was able to land a SA position at a BB, but I haven’t been able to find any information about service dogs. It’s likely that I’ll be WFH this summer so having a service animal wouldn’t affect anything in the “office”, but in the off chance that it isn’t, or in the case that I land a FT offer following the program, how would I go about bringing my dog to the office? Is it allowed? Does it look bad? Who should I start the conversation about this with? Or should I start looking for an alternative? Or just feel it out by talking with the team during the program?
Thank you for everything!
Alright, don't shit on me, but this is just a hot take. If you fully need your animal to survive then yes keep your animal with you. However, I can think of very limited situations where an animal should com into the office at all.
1. the first reason is: the long hours are going to be very tough on your animal. not to mention you will probably need to take your animal outside every now and then which will effect your work.
2. Generally I think having a dog with you just look unprofessional. You'll have hair all over you and what do you do when a cilent walks in.
