Should I change majors to save gpa (around 3.4-3.5 gpa now)

I'm a rising junior at a semi-target majoring in computer science. I have a 3.45 gpa right now which is pretty good for a CS major (since classes are curved at a 2.7 gpa), but not good enough for a BB front office position (coming from a semi-target). Everyone in finance that I spoke to told me to raise my gpa to at least a 3.5 then they would have a good reason to push my resume through.

However, I haven't even started my upper division coursework yet and I know that once I start that next fall, my gpa is going to fall to at least a 3.3.

I have been taking economic classes for a econ minor and am thinking of switching from cs to econ to save my gpa. Would you recommend I do it? I would then have a 3.5 gpa as a econ major instead of a 3.3 as a cs major.

Wouldn't you have to stay longer for school if you switch? Besides, a 3.45 in CSE is not bad. I think employers will understand that a 4.0 in CSE is much harder to get than in an econ/finance major. Then again, I'm not a recruiter, just my two cents.
