Should I continue recruiting for Quant Firms when I already have my dream offer

College sophomore, recently got offer from Tier 1 BB for Sales & Trading, will most likely be a trader on a macro desk.I've recently gotten to know more about quant trading and it seems like firms like Optiver, IMC, Akuna are incredibly places. I know timing matters when it comes to breaking into quant finance - now or never. Should I keep recruiting for these trading firms or just stick with my offer and aim to return full time? Thanks!

I don’t understand, you are asking random people to weigh in on what career path you should pick without even asking any specific questions about what you are concerned about. You just asked whether you should do S&T at a bank vs quant trading (and mostly focused on market making and higher frequency). This is a person decision, why don’t you start with what you want to do and what interests you, then people might be able to help.

I realize you are still in college so you really don’t know. But random people online won’t know what’s best for you either. So help us out by giving your interests, concerns, or even questions and people will be able to help out.
