Should I put case comps on my resume if I wasn't a finalist?
I'm scared interviewers will ask too many questions about it and i'll look like a clown once they find out i didn't place

Mixed opinions on this. I personally put a stock pitch competition I participated in, on mine because it was relevant experience and when they asked me to speak about it I talked about my pitch and the results in terms of what my price target was and where it was trading at. People didn’t ask if I placed or no.
Having said that, if you have relevant internship experience, put that over the case competition.
