As the title says, should I still pursue finance- mainly ib? I've seen many discussions and articles on the implication of AI in finance and I am scared that I won't be able to find a job after college. I am currently a sophomore in high school and would like advice.

A bunch of people in this thread are going to tell you yes because cope probably but you're probably young enough to tell you that, no, you shouldn't. Not really because of AI but because you're young enough to develop real skills and you've already resigned yourself to this soul sucking industry. Don't. You can pretty much completely ignore IB for the next 2 years, do well in school, learn other real skills (or at least skills that have growing - not shrinking - demand) and still end up in a decent position to go into IB anyway, if you so desire.
