Silicon Valley Bank

What are everyone's thoughts on SVB now that all of UBS TMT left to join the bank and build out a practice?

SVB Leerink is obviously already a player in the HC market. Will this push towards building out a full IB be successful? If you had a chance to join would you? SVB already has their ADP program where I believe you rotate between investing roles and commercial banking. If you are able to rotate between IB and investing would you take a role like this out of undergrad?

What is the base, best, and worst case for this move? Just curious to hear everyone's thoughts on if this lasts and what kind of player SVB turns into.

seems like theres been a talent drain across a lot of big firms. Maybe this opens up an opportunity to continue hiring and expanding tech??

I don't think you rotate into an IB role with the SVB development program. Leerink has existed somewhat separately from SVB according to some people I know there. Maybe things have changed.
