Skipping Class For Diversity Event
Unfortunately, I have a few classes on a Friday that align with the firm's diversity events/forums that I want to attend (have been accepted). One class has very strict attendance` policies, and professors have communicated that there won't be an excuse for absence for recruiting-related issues. I really don't know what to do here because I could end up losing a considerable part of my grade (Not like I would end up failing, but profs have made it clear that there are no excused absences), but I also don't want to forfeit a potential super day opportunity
Skip for the superday. Even if your grade drops by a letter you’ll be fine and if you clinch the offer it’ll be more than worth it. As a diversity hire I would fully recommend it
So what. You got covid on that day and can’t come in to class
1000%. I would normally say be honest but if your prof has this shitty policy just lie and say you’re sick or something. Sorry you have to deal with this cus when I was in school our professors were super accommodating around recruiting stuff.
Some nasty power play by profs. Can’t recall any of my grades. Definitely go to the event. Clown will figure out what happened when half of his class is missing.
Skip class and don’t look back. 100%
Autem cumque illum et. Consequuntur sit ullam ad voluptates.
