So much apathy for this job
I’m drained. I have no motivation to go beyond what is expected of me. I don’t care about rationale anymore since at the end of the day it’s more about the opportunities for fees than actual strategic opportunities that benefits the client. We’re just bankers pitching for our next fee and no one with a brain actually respect our ideas.

No. No one on my team has in over a year and asking for one is basically asking for bottom bucket bonus
Then maybe the marginal utility of the vacation is larger than the marginal utility of the few extra thousand dollars you'll earn
