Social Media famous in IB and PE

I am a first year and my ig and TikTok blew up recently because of my content on TikTok. I have +100k followers on ig now and I’ve been approached by a bunch of companies to sponsor their products but I’m worried if I should try to monetize my account or not. My content is based on fitness and funny content. I don’t think it’s bad but I could see people thinking differently if they don’t have a sense of humor or don’t like seeing me shirtless. I’m concerned mainly of my coworkers seeing it and the possibility of it popping up during pe recruiting. Do you think I should keep my accounts or do you think the industry is too conservative for someone to be social media famous?

Sounds like a plus if you want to be a media or tech banker imho but I’m not super sure or experienced in that field. Sounds like a nice hook and/or maybe you want to explore a career in the marketing/media industry? As long as you can put in good work for your employer I don’t see any issue. If anything sounds like a plus as long as content is appropriate and good

Yeah but the problem is that I want to increase my reach and potentially become a top influence in my category if I can. That means I have to put out more content and I’m just worried that I can make a joke that will bite me in the future for finance. Also a lot of people follow me for my body and I like to show off my quads sometimes 🩲 which might make some of my coworkers feel weird
