Sophomore internships in Hong Kong
Hi,
I am currently a rising sophomore who is studying at a Umich Ross. Although my primary residence is in Hong Kong, I only have a regular ID card instead of the permanent one. My gpa is around 3.6 as of now, hoping to get it higher. Besides that, the only thing noteworthy is that I am bilingual (Korean and English fluently) with conversational mandarin.
I believe I had to create this forum because despite all the searches, there was none that was relevant to sophomore internships in Hong Kong. To better prepare myself for next summer, I would like to know everyone's advice regarding
- What are some of the regional/international boutiques in Hong Kong that have been friendly towards sophomore internships? If so, are they unpaid or paid?
- My goal is to enter S&T. As such what type of internships should I pursue?
- is Umich Ross considered a target in HK? (I know that it is in the states, but not sure about here)
Regular ID is good enough to work in HK.
S&T internships are difficult end of soph year. Do try for that but don't forget maybe trying for some corporate/commercial banking internships in HK. HSBC has a great program - I did it end of my sophomore yr in HK. It's a very good springboard for S&T say end of junior year.

Investment banking and AM industry is my current aim and field of interest. Are there any internships available for sophomores in Hong Kong in Asset Management or ibanking? Please let me know if you have any leads or a person I can contact!
FYI, I am willing to work unpaid if necessary since I am seeking the internship for the purpose of experience gathering
