Sophomore Summer Internship Cap One
Hi all,
I’m currently a sophomore at a semi-target for IB. I want to go into REPE or REIB. I’ve done a commercial real estate development internship and a private equity internship. I have an offer for summer 2023 with Capital One but won’t be assigned a project/team until later in the year. It is 10 weeks long and called the Early Internship Program. It is in McLean, Virginia.
I was wondering, should I drop this offer and try to get Hines, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan, etc?
All advice is appreciated and I can fill in any gaps...
You don’t have other offers yet, dropping this would be dumb.
No harm in applying to other places. Keep this offer and apply to the other ones you mentioned. Think about comparing them if you get another offer
