Starting a micro / lmm IB
Hii,
I recently left banking, and am looking for resources with respect to ‘starting’ a LMM / micro bank.
I’ve been building up contacts over the years who at this point in my career have started to seek guidance, including a number of friends who started a business 5-6 years ago. In some cases though it has reached a point where I can’t justify the time commitment unless I can charge a fee.
What I’m looking to be able to do is start a bank where I am able to maintain my series qualifications and can provide independent advisory on the side (typically where I can do all the analysis on my own).
Does anyone have any helpful links / resources? There are a few people I can reach out to who would provide guidance, but am looking to do my own research prior to any discussions with them
Like being a business broker? How many YoE do you have?
Think it still takes 8+ years to build the expertise and experience to do business brokerage
