Stout Future Leaders in Finance (FLF)

Has anyone heard any word on feedback after 1st rounds (they seemed like they were more to double check we're okay). What is the purpose of the program? I have heard it is a feeder program into their different lines of business.

How difficult is it to convert this into an internship for 2021 IB SA?

Slightly differnt situation- I had previously reached out to a recruiter in the past and so they reached out to me and offered me an invitation to the program. They said the dates will be August 12-14

Went to it in the past and they introduce you to all aspects of the firm, give you a group case study, and do some fun social activities. Towards the end they pull you aside to ask which group most interests you and it’s a great route to land the internship.

applied to a Midwest office, the recruiter said that we will find out in the next week or two. Definitely a good program to attend as it can lead to a SA role and can be put on the resume as an "additional experience."

Same. Would be curious to know if it’s for the office my interviewer sits in.

I don't think I ever choose a specfic office. I just got an invitation to the Eastern office program.

Same. Didn’t apply to a specific office. Perhaps a group when we completed the app? Honestly don’t remember

Not sure, but I don't think they had many people apply this year for the program. source: they pushed back the deadline for submitting an application by 10 days.

It’s not too difficult to convert to an offer (I went in the past). Can confirm they pull you aside to discuss which group you like best and you would still have to interview later. Just work hard and be social there and it should be fine.
