Strategic Finance @ FAANG -> RX Banking

Was wondering how it would look to pivot from working a strategic finance internship at a FAANG company my junior year and past experience working under the M&A group of another well-known tech company my sophomore year.

Looking to possibly gun for full-time IB roles within RX but not opposed to other groups either. GPA is a 3.84, semi-target. Any suggestions on firms or feedback at all given how the IB space has been for the last year or so?

Definitely agree. Also it can get depressing sometimes when you only work on dying companies. It makes you pretty pessimistic

Always here to help!

I appreciate your insight! As for my POV, Ive done my fair share of research into RX which is why I wanted to see what my chances were in that area. However, you are right, I did go down the tech path of finance because I found I was really interested in that which is why both my internships were in that area. I'd say going with tech coverage or something of that sort would be something up to speed with what I'd be happy in.

Definitely will try my luck regardless because you never really know where you can land but staying optimistic with the markets haha
