Structured Finance/Securitization Exit Opps?
Does anyone know what the exit ops look like for Securitized Products/Structured Finance at US BB? Haven't seen much post about this area on the forum, curious to hear thoughts

Bump. Curious about bonuses/comp as well
I work at a GS/MS where we have this group. I think it’s possible to do a “real assets” type role. There’s actually a bunch of people who started in the securitized products groups, moved to IBD, then started a tech/telecom PE firm which is pretty successful
How about Citi GSP?

Wondering how hard is it to move into coverage from structured finance? What’s the process like? Any insights would be useful, thanks!
Securitized Products has its own buyside ecosystem. Lots of PE funds with debt groups invest in structured credit, not to mention the shops that specialize in debt to begin with.
That being said, there isn’t as much of an up-and-out culture in SP. People definitely leave the sell-side for buyside roles, but a lot also stay because the pay/hours ratio is not terrible.
Curious about bonus/comp for AN1 and AN2
Wondering the same, is it similar if the group sits under the ib division
Do these groups take MBA Associates or do they only recruit out of undergrad?
how hard would it be to lateral to a traditional IBD group if in this group at a BB?
bump
SUPER BUMP.
Invite you to check my last post as well, since I see there are a lot of SP experts here: https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forum/trading/whats-your-experience-in-…
