Has anyone gotten decent intel on whether SA programs will be in-person or remote? I feel like firms will be on a rotating in-person basis by June but not sure how scalable that is for interns...

Not a summer intern (incoming first year) so this isn’t strong intel, but everyone I’ve spoken with expect a Q3-Q4 return to office. So sounds like the upcoming summer program will run virtually again

Haven’t mentioned yet but sending monitors and laptop for training. I’m assuming no one sends dual monitors to someone’s home assuming they’re going to be virtual for two weeks only
I couldn’t imagine it not being virtual. With how things are looking now, the idea of bringing in 60+ kids from all over the country for an in person internship just seems highly unlikely even if we are in the office by then (doubt it). Interesting to see if firms do auto FT offers like how some did last summer.
Feel like FT conversation rates might be lower this summer due to the high conversion rates last summer. Could be wrong though
Doubt auto offers will happen again. There was a sense of panic last year when these decisions were being made bc the virtual world was still so foreign. Now firms have a good grasp on it and have identified ways to evaluate in a remote setting. For the same reasons, I’d expect a true intern experience and not the BS ~5 week “learning experience” some banks did last summer.
