You need an mba, a ms without any experience at all is worthless for associate roles, you will start as an analyst.
Yes, I can confirm this. From the multiple MS Finance students that have reached out or that I have spoken to have told me that it's very competitive to get an interview for a Summer Associate position without prior relevant experience. Most were not completely rejected but asked if they wanted to be considered for a summer analyst or analyst position.
